Regular Bar Association No. (25) of 2014, published in Official Gazette No. (5294) on page No. (a) Article (43) of it shall be as follows:
(On any of the companies and institutions listed below shall be appointed as an agent or legal advisor from the lawyers registered in the Register of the Professors’ Lawyers:
- Public shareholding companies and their branches.
- Private joint stock companies.
- Limited liability companies whose capital exceeds twenty thousand Jordanian dinars.
- Foreign companies or any branch, agency, regional or representative office.
- The company or institution registered with the development zones and free zones, the Aqaba Special Economic Zone or the Petra Regional Tourism Development Zone, regardless of its capital.
- Exempt company and non-profit company
- Any other company or institution whose capital is not less than fifty thousand dinars.
- Article (43) in paragraph (4) of the same law stipulates the following:
If no company or institution of companies and institutions binding under this paragraph shall appoint a general agent or legal advisor within three months from the date of enforcement of this law or from the date of its founding or registration, it shall be paid to pay the amount of five dinars to the union fund for each day. about that appointment)
Based on the foregoing, we inform you that the Regular Bar Association has started calculating the fine prescribed under the law as of 10/17/2014. Lawyers are thus within (60) days from the date of appointment, in order to avoid payment of the aforementioned fine and prescribed by law.
In order not to impose legal fines on you, we put them in the form of any new legislation or amendment.
